Two fatal shootings, drive-bys, and a toddler nearly dragged off the Green Line
- Saturday, May 9, 11:39 p.m. — Adult male shot dead at 28 Woolson Street in Mattapan. Boston EMS pronounced the victim on scene. Two more people were shot in Dorchester that same weekend.
- Monday, May 12 — A Dorchester gun battle leaves 17 spent casings on the ground and a wounded man dumped at the ER door by his own crew, per MDN's same-day coverage. Friendly fire suspected.
- Tuesday, May 13 — A gunman lights up a Roxbury block with 15 rounds, leaving one man down in the street.
- Wednesday, May 14 — Suspect arrested in connection with a double shooting at 69 Kingsdale Street, Dorchester.
- Friday, May 16 — A carload of teens jumps out and starts spraying gunfire on Dorchester Avenue.
