BOSTON — Boston's weekend ended in blood and silence.
A man was gunned down on a Mattapan side street late Saturday night. Eighteen hours later, two more were cut down on a Dorchester sidewalk — in broad daylight on Mother's Day — one of them clinging to life. By Sunday night the city was looking at three victims, one in a body bag, and the gunmen still on the loose.
Boston police have offered no names, no suspects, no description.
