Officers from District C-11 raced to the scene around 1:05 a.m. on a radio call for a person shot, according to the Boston Police Department. They found the victim — a man — bleeding from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No suspect has been named. No motive has been disclosed. Police have not released the victim's identity.
It's the same Dorchester block MDN reported on in September, when two gunmen on a scooter opened fire near Bowdoin and Olney in a daylight ambush that left a man with a gunshot wound to the neck. Same street. Different victim. This time, fatal.
