BOSTON — Boston Police drug units and Mattapan officers raided a Deering Road home Tuesday morning, allegedly hauling out a loaded 9mm pistol, 22 grams of crack cocaine and a full distribution kit — and picking up two other wanted men in the process.
The raid unfolded around 11:05 a.m. on July 21 at 117 Deering Road, according to Boston Police. Officers from the department's C-11 Drug Control Unit in Dorchester, the C-6 Drug Control Unit in South Boston and B-3 patrol out of Mattapan converged on the address after Dorchester District Court signed off on two search warrants — one for the residence itself and one for the person of Sean Pereira, 34, of Mattapan.

Officers made contact with Pereira at the front door. Backup rolled up, and Pereira was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Inside 117 Deering Road, investigators say they recovered a 9mm semi-automatic pistol loaded with ten rounds of ammunition. Next to the gun, they say they found the working parts of a drug distribution operation: a digital scale, a cutting agent and packaging materials. A search of Pereira's person allegedly turned up roughly 22 grams of crack cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Two other men inside the apartment did not walk away either. Eliezer Carasquillo, 42, of Dorchester, was found to have an outstanding default warrant stemming from a charge of possession of a Class B substance, according to police. Rondelle Neal, 42, was also scooped up on a default warrant — his stemming from a charge of assault and battery on a pregnant victim.
Pereira was booked at Nashua Street Jail. He faces charges of trafficking in a Class B substance (cocaine), unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and additional related offenses.
