SOUTH BOSTON — MBTA Transit Police are asking the public for help identifying a person of interest tied to an incident of "offensive graffiti" at Andrew Station in the early morning hours of July 1.

In a post to X on Tuesday afternoon, the department released a surveillance image of the individual and asked anyone who recognizes them to call the Criminal Investigation Unit at 617-222-1050. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

The department did not specify what the graffiti depicted or the extent of any damage. Transit Police said the incident occurred at roughly 3 a.m. on July 1.
