SOUTH BOSTON — He is believed to be around 11 years old. He robbed a lemonade stand at gunpoint on June 10. He is still on the run.
Boston Police District C-6 detectives released three new surveillance photos Thursday of the second suspect wanted in the Southie armed robbery — a case that has been open for more than three weeks. His 14-year-old accomplice was arrested in mid-June. The 11-year-old has not been found.

The new photos

The Thursday BPD release includes three stills pulled from surveillance video shot in the minutes after the robbery. The suspect is slim, in a black tank top, black pants, black sneakers, a dark backpack, and a black knit hat. In one frame he is running through grass. In another, he is crossing a paved path and appears to be carrying something. In the third, he is walking with his hands in front of him.

The story so far

The victims are two children — a boy, 12, and his sister, 11. They were running a lemonade stand on their South Boston sidewalk when two masked juveniles walked up and pulled out a gun. The kids put their hands up. The suspects grabbed the cash box and ran.
BPD released surveillance photos the same week. Both faces were revealed to be juvenile. One was 14. The other was believed to be about 11. Days later, the 14-year-old was arrested. The 11-year-old was not.
The suspect is believed to be about 11. He has been at large for 22 days. BPD is asking for help finding him.
This is a developing story.
