Boston's second murder in 48 hours

Monday night's killing follows the Saturday-afternoon death of Mabinty "Binty" Janneh, 32, of Dorchester, who was dragged "several hundred feet" beneath a stolen SUV during a sidewalk rampage on Blue Hill Avenue. Ibraim Matos, 37, of Hyde Park has been arraigned on a murder charge in her death.
In between the two killings, two more shooting incidents had Boston Police flooding city blocks. Late Sunday night, three people were shot on the 400 block of Quincy Street in Dorchester — one critically — as a Cape Verde World Cup celebration locked down nearby Bowdoin Street. Earlier Sunday evening, a man was shot multiple times near the Readville commuter rail station in Hyde Park. The suspected shooter surrendered at the Hyde Park Avenue Boston Police station shortly afterward, according to police scanner reports.
