BOSTON — The two masked suspects who held up a kids' lemonade stand at gunpoint on West Ninth Street in South Boston on Wednesday afternoon are roughly 11 and 14 years old, Boston Police now say — and they got away with about $50 in cash.
BPD has also released a fresh round of clearer surveillance stills of the pair, including a closer look at one suspect's exposed face. In the new images, the taller of the two suspects can be seen fleeing the scene carrying a small pink cash box — the one taken from the 11-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother who were running the stand.

The robbery happened just before 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the corner of E and West 9th Streets. Per BPD, the suspects walked up to the stand and asked the kids if it accepted Apple Pay, then grabbed the cash box before the children could answer. One of the suspects then displayed a black firearm in his waistband before both fled, the department said. The cash box was later found a short distance away, empty.
