BOSTON — ICE Boston has another accused child rapist in custody — a Guatemalan illegal immigrant whose alleged history includes raping a child with force, two counts of aggravated rape of a child, and intimidating the witnesses afterward.
Gumercindo Lopez is in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, the agency announced Wednesday morning.
According to ICE, Lopez's criminal history includes arrests for:
- Rape of a child with force
- Aggravated rape of a child with a five-year age difference between attacker and victim
- Aggravated rape of a child with a ten-year age difference between attacker and victim
- Witness intimidation

ICE Boston's follow-up was blunt.
"ICE Boston continues to prioritize arresting dangerous criminal aliens who commit vile crimes against the most innocent victims," the agency said.

ICE got him. The sanctuary state didn't.
