BOSTON — Boston cops are hunting a bearded Lincoln Tavern menace who allegedly cracked a Southie man over the head with a beer bottle outside a popular South Boston watering hole — after harassing the victim's girlfriend with "lewd gestures," police said.
The bottle-swinging suspect — described as a white male, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, between 26 and 30 years old, with dark hair and a beard — is still on the loose after the closing-time clash outside the Lincoln Tavern on West Broadway, according to the Boston Police Department.

The mayhem unfolded around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, when District C-6 officers got a radio call for a "removal" near the Broadway bar, cops said.

The victim told police the stranger had earlier rolled up on him and his girlfriend and started "verbally accosting" them. The Southie man confronted the creep, words were exchanged — and the two went their separate ways.
But the bearded boozer wasn't done.
He allegedly kept flashing "lewd gestures" at the girlfriend, sparking a second, this time physical, showdown — and that's when he allegedly clocked the victim in the skull with a beer bottle, police said.
