BOSTON — A rambunctious trio of young women jumped a 34-year-old man on the Downtown Crossing Orange Line platform Sunday night — and MBTA Transit cops caught up to all three before they could slip out of the station, police said.
The three female suspects, ages 18, 19, and 21, were cuffed for the violent assault and robbery of the man at one of the busiest stops on the T — at 10 p.m. on a Sunday night — according to MBTA Transit Police. When officers patted them down, alcohol nips and marijuana came tumbling out of their pockets.
