DORCHESTER — Boston Police are asking for the public's help locating Lafayette LaGrant-Gomes, a 15-year-old Dorchester boy who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

LaGrant-Gomes left his home and never returned, according to Boston Police. He was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. on May 12 in the area of 965 Blue Hill Avenue.

Police describe LaGrant-Gomes as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and 130 pounds, with black afro-style hair and a mustache. He has a birthmark on his left arm.

When last seen, he was wearing a black coat, black hoodie, black jeans, black shirt, and black sneakers, and carrying a blue crossover bag.

Detectives say he is known to frequent Columbia Road, Downtown Crossing, Ames Street, and Harambee Park.
