BOSTON — ICE Boston had a busy April. And by "busy" we mean they arrested child rapists, murder fugitives, an MS-13 killer, and a man who suffocated a pregnant woman — all in Massachusetts, all in one month.
Every arrest below is sourced directly from ICE Boston's own posts on X. We didn't editorialize the charges. We didn't have to.
Let's meet the cast.

The Child Predator Section

Anatolio Antonio Alves Carreiro (Brazil) — Arrested April 8 in Peabody. Warrant from Brazil for child rape. Interpol issued a red notice for his arrest. Living in Peabody.
Ana Beatriz Da Silva Sousa (Brazil) — Arrested April 7 in Edgartown. Martha's Vineyard. Charged with rape of a child, two counts of indecent assault, kidnapping, and aggravated rape of a child in a joint enterprise. Even the Vineyard isn't safe.

The One That's Hard to Read

Gabriel De Freitas (Brazil) — Two counts of suffocation of a pregnant victim. Two counts of assault and battery on a pregnant victim. Two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a pregnant victim. Two counts of kidnapping. And assault and battery on a family member. That's one person's charge sheet.

Murder Row

Altieris Chaves Paiva (Brazil) — Arrested April 5 in Falmouth. Subject of an Interpol Red Notice for homicide. Wanted by authorities in Brazil. Living on Cape Cod.

Bryan Rafael Gomez (Dominican Republic) — Arrested April 4 in Worcester. Subject of an Interpol Red Notice for homicide. Wanted by Dominican authorities. Living in Worcester.
Two murder fugitives. One day apart. Both with Interpol Red Notices. Both living in Massachusetts.

The MS-13 Section

Jorge Alexander Sierra-Quintanilla (El Salvador) — Known MS-13 gang member arrested April 20 in Everett, in cooperation with the US Marshals. Wanted in El Salvador for aggravated homicide and membership in a terrorist organization. Found in Everett.

Felony Rape, Assault, and a Foreign Fugitive

Gaspard Montas (Haiti) — Arrested April 1 in Taunton. Pending charges for felony rape. Had a final order of removal from an immigration judge. "Final" apparently meant "whenever you get around to it."
Jose Enrique Zelaya Artica (Honduras) — Arrested April 7 in Boston. Pending charges for indecent assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a family member. Also had prior drug possession and resisting arrest charges.
Marcos Da Silva Martins (Brazil) — Arrested April 1 in Malden. A previously deported illegal immigrant and foreign fugitive from Brazil. Deported once, came back, and was living in Malden like nothing happened.

The Final Count

Two child sex offenders. Two murder fugitives with Interpol Red Notices. An MS-13 gang member wanted for aggravated homicide. A man who suffocated a pregnant woman. A felony rapist with a removal order that was never enforced. A foreign fugitive who'd already been deported once and came back. And a man charged with indecent assault with a dangerous weapon on a family member.
Nine arrests. One month. One state.
And every one of these operations happened while Massachusetts Democrats fought to condemn ICE agents, block their funding, and file lawsuit after lawsuit to stop deportations. Activists physically blocked the Burlington ICE facility — twice — in the past five months. AG Campbell has filed dozens of challenges against federal immigration enforcement.
These agents go into the streets every day knowing that elected officials in the state they're protecting would rather see them defunded. And they still pulled child rapists, murder fugitives, and an MS-13 killer off Massachusetts streets in 30 days.
Tomorrow is May Day. Activists will march through Boston demanding an end to ICE operations. They're welcome to bring this list and explain which of these people should have been left alone.
