ROXBURY — A Roxbury pizza shop has been robbed five times — same scam every time. Someone places a big order, $80 to $120 worth of food, and when the delivery driver shows up, they get ambushed.
Amilcar Gonzales, the owner of Blue Hill House of Pizza at 161 Blue Hill Avenue, told Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra the robberies have all happened after 8 p.m. in the Roxbury and Dorchester area, all close to the shop.
The latest one happened Tuesday night on Maywood Street. Three masked individuals came out from behind a parked vehicle, got into the delivery driver's car, and took the food.

"Typically, these are large orders — $80, $100, $120," Gonzales said.
No arrests have been made. The police report for Tuesday's incident noted that the previous robberies hadn't even been reported.
Gonzales has had the shop for eight years. He says the situation has gotten worse. He's now closing earlier and has stopped offering evening delivery entirely — not because he wants to, but because he can't keep putting his employees in danger.
He's not the only one. Another business on the same block told Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra that they've also changed their delivery schedule because of the same problem.
Five robberies. Zero arrests. And a small business owner who's been forced to stop serving his own neighborhood at night because nobody's doing anything about it.
