BOSTON — Two suspects rolled up to South Bay Mall on a motor scooter Thursday night, opened fire, and rode off into the dark. They’re still out there.
The shooting happened at approximately 8:45 PM at the shopping center at 1 Allstate Rd — a popular shopping center home to Target, Marshalls, and a movie theater.
The Boston Police Department released surveillance images Friday showing the individuals arriving on the scooter, and leaving the same way. No arrests have been made.

Miraculously, no one was hit. But someone opened fire at a shopping mall on a Thursday night — and so far, no one’s been caught.
Detectives from District C-6 in South Boston are investigating and asking anyone who recognizes the individuals in the surveillance footage to come forward. If you recognize anyone in the images, BPD wants to hear from you:
