BOSTON — Two loaded guns, a bulletproof vest, and a can of bear spray designed to stop a charging grizzly. That’s what Boston police found inside a Dorchester apartment after three people allegedly jumped two victims, sprayed them in the face with the bear repellent, hit them with a rock, and pistol-whipped one of them in the head.
Detectives executed a search warrant at 7 Topliff Street on Thursday, April 9, and recovered a Glock 45 with one round in the chamber and eighteen rounds in an extended magazine — fitted with a flashlight and laser attachment — along with a Ruger LC9 with one round chambered and seven in the magazine, various firearm parts, a bulletproof vest, and a can of Sabre Frontiersman bear and mountain lion deterrent spray.
The kind of spray you buy if you’re hiking in Montana. Not Dorchester.

The day before, around 2:13 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, officers in District C-11 responded to an armed robbery call at the same address. Two victims told police they were dropping off items at the building when multiple people attacked them.
One victim was blasted in the face with bear repellent. Both were struck with a rock. One of the suspects cracked a victim in the head with a firearm. Boston EMS responded, but both victims refused further medical treatment.
Officers didn’t wait around. They set up a perimeter, swept the building, and found the suspects still holed up inside one of the apartments. Detectives secured the residence and obtained a search warrant — and what they found inside speaks for itself.

Sebastian Fecu, 23, of Dorchester — charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Natalya Moore, 18, of Dorchester — charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery.
Delroy Beckford, 33, of Boston — was not just at the scene. He had three active warrants for drug offenses, motor vehicle violations, and assault and battery. The kind of person who probably should not have been walking around with access to a Glock and a bulletproof vest.
Two loaded firearms, a bulletproof vest, and bear spray that can stop a grizzly — all in a Dorchester apartment where two people had just been beaten and robbed. District C-11 detectives got it off the street in less than 24 hours.
All three are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
