MEDWAY — ICE agents tried to stop a white van on Route 109 in Milford Wednesday morning. What followed was a cross-town pursuit, a federal vehicle getting rammed, a crash on a residential street — and two suspects who are still out there.
At 7:53 a.m., U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents attempted to pull over the vehicle. Instead of stopping, the driver fled — and struck an agent-occupied vehicle in the process. The van then headed east, crossing into Medway via West Street before turning onto Fisher Street.
That's where it ended — sort of.
Before the van came to a stop near the high-tension lines, the driver and a passenger opened the doors and jumped out. The vehicle was still moving when they bailed. It rolled off the roadway and crashed.

Both suspects ran.
Federal agents pursued on foot and swept the area with vehicles. Neither person was caught.
Medway Police responded after residents called 911 reporting unmarked vehicles traveling at high speed. Officers were told by federal agents what was happening and limited their role to traffic control and facilitating the removal of the crashed van.
Fisher Street was temporarily closed. It has since reopened.
"Any inquiries regarding this incident should be directed to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement," Medway Police Chief William Kingsbury said in a statement.
Medway Police released the full statement on Facebook:
ICE has not released information about the identities of the suspects or the nature of the enforcement operation.
