BRIGHTON — A 16-year-old boy turned himself in to Boston police Saturday night, wanted on a warrant for shooting another juvenile on a busy Brighton street two days earlier.
The suspect surrendered at the District D-14 station in Allston/Brighton at approximately 9:40 p.m. on March 28, police said. He was wanted on a warrant issued out of Suffolk County Juvenile Court on a staggering list of charges:

- Assault with intent to murder
- Carrying a loaded firearm without a license
- Assault and battery attempt with a firearm
- Possession of ammunition without an FID card
- Discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building
- Firearm use in a felony
- Carrying a firearm without a license
He is 16 years old.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6:46 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, in the area of 222 Brighton Avenue. Officers found a juvenile victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court. His name has not been released due to his age.
