Detectives are asking the public to help identify the man responsible for an armed robbery near Adams Street and Whitten Street

BOSTON — Boston Police have released a surveillance photo of a man they say robbed victims at gunpoint in Dorchester and are asking the public to help identify him.

The armed robbery occurred around 4:33 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, near the intersection of Adams Street and Whitten Street, according to Boston Police. The suspect reportedly approached the victims from behind and robbed them at gunpoint.

District C-11 detectives are actively investigating the incident. The surveillance image shows the suspect wearing a red hoodie, black puffer jacket, dark pants, and black sneakers.
