WORCESTER — Police are hunting for a brazen thief who walked out of a Worcester consignment shop with $15,000 worth of designer purses.

The heist went down last week at Sweet Jane's Designer Consignment on Main Street — a small business that sells pre-owned luxury goods.

Surveillance footage released Monday shows the suspect — wearing a winter coat and hat — walking out with an armful of high-end bags.

Getaway car caught on camera

Worcester Police also released an image of a vehicle they believe was used in the theft.

The department is asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or the car to come forward.
