BOSTON— A Springfield man has been sentenced to an astonishing 147 months in prison for his role in distributing over 40 grams of fentanyl and for illegally possessing a firearm. Lamiek White, 31, was reportedly involved in a conspiracy to distribute the dangerous drug from November 2022 through June 2023, with law enforcement discovering approximately 200 grams of fentanyl during a police search of his home in June 2023.

The sentencing, handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Mark G. Mastroianni, follows White's guilty plea to the charges, which took place earlier this year. In addition to his lengthy prison term, White will also be subject to five years of supervised release once he completes his sentence.
