DORCHESTER— A 17-year-old male was arrested Tuesday after police officers discovered a loaded firearm during a routine patrol near a convenience store. Officers from District C-11 observed three individuals acting suspiciously, prompting them to investigate. The teen, now facing multiple serious charges, allegedly resisted arrest during the encounter.
During the incident around 9:09 PM, officers noticed one individual repeatedly looking toward his waistband, which raised suspicions that he might be armed. A pat frisk revealed a Taurus G2C firearm loaded with twelve rounds. The young suspect was charged with several offenses, including Firearm Carry without a License and Possession of Ammunition without an FID card, according to police reports.
