DORCHESTER—A brazen arrest unfolded as the Youth Violence Strike Force nabbed a 22-year-old suspect, Zayvion Guity, in connection with multiple firearm violations. This alarming incident took place near 11B Allstate Road, where police were hot on the trail of a suspect matching Guity’s description following reports of him brandishing a firearm.
As officers approached, Guity attempted to evade capture by hunching his body forward and falling to the ground. According to police reports, the officers felt what they believed to be a gun as he reached toward his midsection, prompting an urgent struggle to restrain him. With multiple officers on the scene, they were able to secure Guity in handcuffs, where they discovered a concealed fanny pack under his jacket.

Inside that fanny pack lay a ghost gun outfitted with a fifteen-round magazine, complete with a flashlight and laser attachment—an unsettling find that raises serious questions about public safety. Guity has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, and possession of a large capacity feeding device.
