ROXBURY— The Boston Police Department is sounding the alarm as they seek public assistance in identifying individuals involved in a frightening incident at Roxbury Community College. Reports indicate an assault with a firearm took place at around 8:20 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Reggie Lewis Center, located at 1350 Tremont Street.
According to preliminary information, a verbal altercation escalated dramatically when one of the individuals, described as a male wearing a hoodie, allegedly brandished what appeared to be a firearm during the confrontation. Witnesses reported a tense scene as tensions flared inside the community college facility, leaving those present shaken.
