The suspect, identified as Angel DeLeon of Brighton, was apprehended on various charges when officers observed suspicious activity on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain.
Around 8:35 PM, police conducted a directed patrol when they noticed DeLeon with one arm pinned to his body, a peculiar behavior that raised red flags. As the suspect moved away from officers while keeping his right hand close to his waistband, they decided to intervene. A quick pat frisk led to the shocking discovery of a firearm tucked away in his waistband.

Authorities reported that the recovered firearm featured a P80 Slide and a Glock frame, including one round in the chamber and an additional sixteen rounds in the magazine. DeLeon now faces a slew of serious charges, including:
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
- Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID card
- Trespassing
