DORCHESTER—A brazen armed carjacking unfolded in Dorchester, sending shockwaves through the community and culminating in the arrests of three suspects. The incident, which took place on November 29, 2025, involved a victim who was confronted by multiple individuals, including at least one armed with a firearm, according to police reports.

Responding officers quickly arrived at the scene near Columbia Road and Quincy Street around 8:30 PM, where they discovered the victim in distress. The individual received assistance on-site and was advised of available resources before being transported from the location. Initial canvassing for the stolen vehicle proved fruitless, but investigators soon uncovered critical details that shifted the investigation into high gear.

The plot thickened the following day when authorities learned it was an armed carjacking. Detectives from District B-2 began a meticulous investigation, analyzing surveillance footage from residential buildings and city cameras. The footage revealed the victim's vehicle at the Indigo Block Apartments, just moments before suspects were seen leaving the area, with one suspect driving off in the stolen car.

Days later, on December 5, 2025, officers located the stolen vehicle parked and unoccupied outside a residence on Abbotsford Street. The vehicle was towed to Boston Police Headquarters for processing.

On December 16, 2025, the investigation culminated in the arrest of three individuals: Leireker Deleon, 18, of Roxbury; Aamir Sylvia, 19, of Dorchester; and Atiana Suazo, 20, also of Dorchester. They face serious charges linked to the armed carjacking, including Armed Carjacking Firearm and Larceny Over $1,200. The investigation recovered multiple firearms, including a Canik 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a Glock 21 equipped with an automatic conversion device, high-capacity magazines, and a substantial quantity of drugs, including marijuana and suspected crack cocaine.

The charges against the suspects reflect a troubling trend, with police stating that this incident is part of a broader investigation into violent crime in the area. Detectives from District B-2 continue to probe deeper into the circumstances surrounding this alarming incident.
