BOSTONāEast Boston officers nabbed a knife-wielding suspect after a terrifying encounter left dog walkers fleeing for their lives. Around 7:23 PM on November 26, 2025, police responded to a frantic call about a person brandishing a knife near 131 Orleans Street. Upon arrival, officers located the alleged assailant, later identified as Deigo Bautista-Perez, 36, and recovered a knife from his right jean pocket.
As the drama unfolded, two victims reported that while walking their dog, Bautista-Perez approached them and scraped the knife against the sidewalk. Fearing for their safety, the victims fled but were reportedly pursued by the suspect. In a chilling escalation, another victim told police that Bautista-Perez swung the knife at him, allegedly attempting to stab him. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the disturbing incidents.
