BOSTON— Police have made a significant drug bust while arresting a wanted sex offender in Roslindale. The dramatic incident unfolded as officers executed search warrants at an apartment on Colgate Road, leading to the recovery of two kilos of drugs.
During the operation, police recognized the target of their investigation, Shyronn Johnson, 34, as he exited the residence. Johnson was already wanted on a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. As officers attempted to apprehend him, a physical struggle ensued before multiple Drug Control Unit officers secured him in handcuffs. A search incident to his arrest uncovered a plastic bag containing crack cocaine and a meager $30 in cash.

The search warrants, executed at 24 Colgate Road, uncovered a staggering haul of narcotics: over 1,000 grams of Methamphetamine, 1,055 grams of Pink Cocaine, 54 grams of Cocaine, and 80 grams of Fentanyl, along with approximately $1,782 in cash. Four suspects were arrested on site, with authorities indicating they are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
Charges against Johnson include trafficking of Class B drugs over 1,000 grams and possession with intent to distribute, alongside his original sex offender registration failure. Nicole Bilunas, 43, of Brockton, Hector Acevedo, 46, of Malden, and Wilgen Noble Brea, 44, of Roslindale, face similar trafficking charges for their involvement in the operation.
This latest bust highlights ongoing drug issues in the area and raises concerns about public safety as authorities continue to tackle narcotics trafficking head-on.
