MATTAPAN— A 16-year-old male was arrested in connection with a shocking homicide that left a teenager dead last summer in Mattapan. The arrest took place at District E-13 in Jamaica Plain around 12:26 PM on November 21, 2025.

Authorities report that the suspect was wanted on several serious charges, including murder, assault with a firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two victims inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other, identified as Christian Cousins, 17, of Stoughton, was pronounced dead shortly after.
