DORCHESTER—An alarming incident unfolded in broad daylight as Boston detectives dive into an assault and larceny case at a local store. The Boston Police Department is on the hunt for two unidentified males involved in this brazen act, which occurred around 12:45 PM on a recent Sunday at Madrag’s on Blue Hill Avenue.

According to reports, the victim, a woman shopping inside the store, was verbally attacked by the suspects, who allegedly hurled insults before one of them snatched a maroon handbag and fled without paying. Just as astonishing, the second suspect reportedly threw a plastic water bottle at the victim, leaving her drenched in water as they made their escape. Officers arriving on the scene observed the distressing sight of the victim soaked but, fortunately, she declined medical attention.

The suspects are described as two Black males, both in their twenties, and according to police, the victim had never encountered them before. Despite an immediate canvassing of the area by officers, no leads were discovered, leaving investigators with little to go on. As the detectives from District B-2 continue their work, community members are urged to step forward with any information that might lead to the identification of these individuals.
