Boston Police Department officials shared these images with the public.
As officers searched Toussaint, they uncovered a "belly band" holster concealed beneath his sweatshirt, containing a black and green Beretta APX 9mm semi-automatic firearm. This weapon, which had its serial number obliterated, was loaded with one round in the chamber and thirteen in the magazine. Officers also confiscated an undisclosed amount of cash during the arrest. Toussaint now faces a staggering array of charges, including Trafficking Class B (Cocaine) and Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License.
Authorities did not stop with Toussaint. They also apprehended 43-year-old Sharleen McNeil of Roxbury, who allegedly had multiple outstanding warrants for possession of Class B drugs. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
This incident highlights the ongoing battle against drug trafficking and illegal firearms in Boston's streets. With such serious charges looming, the consequences for these suspects could be severe, sending a clear message: the Boston Police Department is on high alert, and they won’t tolerate illegal drug sales and gun violence.
