Canisteo, NY—A twisted predator from Lynn, Massachusetts, turned a quiet Upstate New York village into a parent’s worst nightmare, crossing state lines to prey on a 14-year-old girl. Estefan D. Henriquez, 29, was busted by New York State Troopers in a heart-pounding 3 a.m. sting, but the sickening details of his plot are enough to make your skin crawl.
Hiding behind a social media screen, the Lynn creep bombarded the teen with explicit messages, luring her into his dangerous web. Shockingly, he’d already met her once before, committing despicable acts of rape that left the young girl’s life in shambles. Not satisfied, Henriquez drove from Lynn to Steuben County, planning to kidnap her for more abuse.
Troopers, acting on a tip from a vigilant Jasper resident, caught Henriquez in Canisteo as he pulled up to a prearranged meeting spot. The takedown stopped a terrifying abduction in its tracks, sparing the teen from further horror. Sources say his scheme was driven by twisted, sexual motives.
Now, the Lynn fiend is hit with a slew of charges: two counts of second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, attempted rape, attempted kidnapping, and endangering the welfare of a child. Arraigned in Steuben County Court, he’s locked up in jail with no bail – and locals say it’s where he belongs.
The investigation’s still hot, with cops begging for tips about this predator’s actions. Know something? Call (585) 536-1050 or email crimetip@troopers.ny.gov. Parents, this is a wake-up call: predators are out there, stalking kids online. Keep those phones locked down, New York – this Lynn monster proves nowhere’s safe!
