HOLDEN, Mass. — A Massachusetts high school spiraled into damage control Thursday after one of its own staffers spewed shocking commentary online about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk — forcing police to flood the campus overnight and at morning drop-off.

Kirk, the outspoken firebrand shot dead by a sniper while speaking at a Utah college, has become a martyr for many on the right. But instead of mourning, a Wachusett Regional High School employee allegedly mocked or politicized the murder on social media — pouring gasoline on an already raging fire.

The comments rocketed across the internet, racking up millions of views and raising a disturbing question: how many taxpayer-funded educators are openly hostile to the very students and families they’re supposed to serve?

Holden police said there were “no credible threats,” but still deployed cruisers through the night and into the morning — a move that spoke volumes about the intensity of the backlash. Officers promised to “remain in contact with WRHS administration to provide them with any public safety resources necessary.”

The district has yet to say whether the staffer will face consequences. But furious parents are demanding answers, blasting the episode as yet another example of progressive educators injecting radical politics into classrooms.

Meanwhile, in Utah, investigators released images of a person of interest in Kirk’s brazen killing and announced a $100,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest.

For many, the Wachusett saga is the latest reminder that while conservatives mourn the loss of one of their own, some in America’s schools treat political violence as a punchline.
