BOSTON — Chaos erupted in Dorchester Tuesday night as an estimated 50 teens and young adults squared off in wild group fights at Harambee Park, forcing Boston police to flood the scene.

Radio chatter lit up just after 8 p.m. with supervisors calling for reinforcements from across the city and yanking the entire Charlie Division shift into the melee. At least seven people were cuffed on the spot.
By the time the dust settled, dozens of officers were still sweeping the park while the arrested teens and adults were hauled off to Charlie Division for booking.
Police say no injuries were reported — a small miracle given the scale of the brawl — but the sheer show of force underscored how quickly summer nights in the city can spiral out of control.
