Prosecutors say 27-year-old Luis Carlos Ramos Teixeira, of Brockton, picked her up outside the Lenox on Exeter Street at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. She claims she’d had only two drinks — then remembered nothing until she woke half-undressed on a dark Somerville side street, where Teixeira allegedly parked for more than an hour.
The woman ran from the car and was treated at Cambridge Hospital. Police say Lyft records and surveillance footage nailed down Teixeira’s identity.
He’s pleaded not guilty to rape and indecent assault and battery, and is being held without bail until Friday’s dangerousness hearing. Lyft says they are “working on a comment.”
