Boston Police Rush to Scene After Two Bodies Reported on Grass Near State House

BOSTON — Boston police are investigating a report of two bodies found on the grass near Beacon and Park Streets, just steps from the Massachusetts State House.

According to dispatch audio reviewed by Mass Daily News, a 911 caller told operators they had discovered two people “cold to the touch” with “no pulse.” The report — still unconfirmed by authorities — prompted multiple police units to respond to the scene.

The location sits at the edge of Boston Common, directly across from the State House, in one of the city’s most visible and heavily trafficked areas.
