BOSTON — In the early hours of Saturday, July 19, Boston police caught 28-year-old Allante Pires from Brockton speeding through the neighborhood—drunk, armed, and rocking what can only be described as the loudest Glock in Massachusetts.
Pires was pulled over around 2:42 AM near Moreland and Warren Streets after officers noticed his vehicle flying by at high speed. From the start, it was clear something was off: Pires reeked of alcohol, had glazed eyes, and slurred speech. A quick check of the glove box revealed an open bottle of booze, while a knife hung from his waistband like a Halloween prop.

But the real showstopper? The Glock 19 pistol found inside the vehicle—custom painted in neon green and purple, covered with “HAHAHA” marks, and emblazoned with the ominous phrase: “Some men just want to watch the world burn.” If Pires was aiming for intimidation points, the flashy, comic book-style paint job was more laughable than threatening.
Both Pires and his passenger refused to exit the car when ordered, forcing officers to physically remove them. A loaded magazine with 24 rounds was found in the gun, ready to fire at a moment’s notice.
Now facing multiple charges including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, operating under the influence, open container, and speeding, Pires learned the hard way that a flashy Glock and bad driving don’t mix well with Boston’s finest.
The streets don’t need jokers like this — just drivers who know when to put down the bottle and keep their hands off the wheel.
Charges:
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
- Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
- Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol
- Open Container Violation
- Speeding
