BOSTON — Boston police responded Wednesday afternoon to a disturbing report of a man allegedly doused with bleach in broad daylight — and claiming he was losing vision as a result.
The first 911 call came in at 3:17 p.m. from near 22 Ronan Street in Dorchester, where a passerby reported that a Black male walked by and said someone had thrown bleach on him.

According to police scanner traffic, the caller said the man appeared to be covered in bleach and claimed he was losing his vision.
The incident was also reported on the Citizen app, which flagged an assault in progress at the same location.

As of now, no suspect has been identified, and Boston police have not confirmed whether any arrests have been made or whether the victim required medical treatment.
