Medway, Massachusetts, is a sleepy small town—think tidy lawns and kids on scooters. But a 24-year-old’s alleged crimes have blasted that image to bits. Luis Lema-Pomavilla, from 30 Wellington St., is locked up without bail, hit with charges that’ll turn your stomach: child rape, kidnapping, and possession of child sexual abuse images. Court documents spell out a grim tale. Lema-Pomavilla allegedly met a young girl at a party, gave her a drink that knocked her unconscious, and raped her. He’s accused of using nude photos to force her into more meetings, where he allegedly kept drugging and assaulting her. She gave birth to his child in 2024. Police arrested him in September, searched his phones and cameras, and found photos and videos allegedly showing him assaulting this victim and two other teen girls, aged 15 and 16, all identified by authorities.
The case involves three victims, with evidence from Lema-Pomavilla’s devices laying bare the accusations.
